    Internationally acclaimed choreographer and resident artist Tim Podesta has brought together a select group of junior dancers from across the country to collaborate on an exciting new work titled LUMINA.

    Known for pushing the boundaries of contemporary dance, Podesta’s vision for LUMINA centers on the emergence of light - representing youth, freedom and the boundless energy that comes with it.

    LUMINA captures the essence of young dancers stepping into their power, with freedom of movement and the courage to take risks woven into each step.

    The work explores the contrast between light and dark, embodying the journey of discovery, self-expression and the ability to embrace the unknown.This performance highlights the immense talent and potential of the next generation of dancers, as they navigate the space between structure and liberation, creating a raw, dynamic and deeply expressive work under Podesta’s expert guidance.
